Katie Maasik - The creative talent behind our Lookbook

Katie Maasik is an eclectic designer with a thing for John Hughes movies, typography, and hand-drawn lettering. Her passion from letterforms comes from her childhood when she learned how to write cursive in grade 2. 

She earned her design degree from NSCADU, interned in New York, and studied art history up close in Europe before returning home to live and work in Vancouver and complete the iDEA program at Capilano University.

Notable experience include W Magazine, The Vancouver Canucks, Aveda, Hangar18, Imagine1Day, A Thinking Ape, Subplot, Lululemon, Vancouver Mural Festival, Telus, and GOOD Inc. 

Her areas of speciality are Brand Identity, Art Direction, and Print Design and is currently working with some pretty rad companies.
