MEET MADELEINE

Madeleine: In the summer time, I love a great hike and in the winter, I hit the slopes as much as possible. For day to day exercise, spin classes and weight training are my go to's! I like to think of gym time as my stress relief. Without it, I would be a very unpleasant person. 

Fenntessa: In terms of fashion, we know you can rock Fenntessa bikinis. How would you describe your overall sense of style?

 Madeleine: Overall sense of style would be mostly preppy. I feel like I'm in preppy business casual attire no matter what the occasion. I try to funk things up every once and a while, but usually end up in polka dots and pink. 

 Fenntessa: We LOVE to travel. What's the best vacation you've ever taken?

Madeleine: I've been to a few amazing places in Europe, but honestly my favourite vacation I've been on was 10 days in Kauai, HI. Surfing, hiking, scuba diving and BBQing beachside. It was so relaxing and rejuvenating. I remember how depressed I was when I had to go home!  I would move to Hawaii in a heart beat. 

Fenntessa: The print this year is an imaginative composition of animals playing sports. Do you have a favourite animal?

 Madeleine: Well, besides my beloved dog, Kali. Definitely a tiger! They're just so damn majestic. 

 Fenntessa: We are all about the sun (for obvious reasons) but it can't always be sunny out. How do you like to spend a rainy day?

 Madeleine: At the gym, or running in the forest with a very muddy dog! Sometimes you just have to embrace it living in Vancouver. 

Fenntessa: Any words to live by or special quote? 

 Madeleine: Don't take anything for granted and don't judge anyone without really getting to know them. You never know what life will throw at you and what life has thrown at others. Treat everyone as you wish to be treated yourself.
